Jenna Fischer has become best well-known for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she portrayed on The Office. In the course of playing this role, Jenna received two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Jenna was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, however, she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna's mom Anne used to perform in dramas at church as a child which sparked an passion for theater.
She's a trained actress who returned to the stage after The Office. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. The Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has been a huge success, reaching its Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads in the first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends there. This memoir is about their relationship and working together on The Office.
