Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native who was born in Houston on the 17th of April, 1972. Her dad, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother taught at a nearby college. The father of her was an engineer in the chemical industry so she wanted to be as skilled as him. But because she wanted to fulfill her ambition of becoming an actress, she moved in New York to try her chances in the film industry. The Broadway performances were followed by work at a local restaurant. Her husband of the first time Scott Foley met her on the television show "Felicity," where she appeared as a character.
