Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I spent months working 12 hours sanding floors, and tearing down wallpaper with one child strapped on my back, and others climbing into the playpen. Ha! It was all starting to form, but there was still a long way to go. The house would need a great deal of effort as well as a passion of shopping. To keep within my budget, I took my boys with me to look for hidden treasures at estate sales. The routine we had for the week was to spend Thursday-Saturday walking through garage and estate sales, buying old and new pieces and then I would spend the weekdays painting sanding in the driveway. It looked a bit like this... Here's the place where my passion for in the process of restoring old furniture got started. Once our home was furnished, I still couldn't stop! There was an area in the market that I could sell my items. Then I bought more that I had no idea what to do with and outgrew the area. I hosted open houses at my residence where 1 000 people could visit on a single weekend. visitors could buy anything from the ground level. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. My business was not only flourishing, but I was also growing our family of four. I was trying to find that perfect balance between what it took to start a new business as well as a mother too. Growing Days fit perfectly. My sweet Nora was born in 2013, our fourth baby. My business was going well however I needed a break. I took a break from making vintage furniture, and I slowed down my speed to be at home to take care of the kids. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. After a while, after that, the phone began to call. People contacted me asking for help with interior decor and home renovations. They were mostly people that came to my residence to buy furniture. Then I slowly took on clients according to my own pace. Then I was able to have many clients and I was running an enterprise of renovations to homes. It is likely that I would have laughed if someone had told me the business was going to be part of a forthcoming TV show in the DIY Network. Actually, I smile a little when I remember it.
