Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1st, 1991 in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, Germany. Her mother is a Social Worker of South Africa-American descent and social worker from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz continued her French study through Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. After graduating from college, Beetz immediately began auditioning for roles and was eventually offered as Van in Atlanta. Beetz is a native of Berlin and was the daughter of a German father and an African American mother. She was raised both and in New York. In community theaters as well as local stages since childhood, Zazie found her joy when she was in the middle school years and began growing up acting. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dance skills have paid off. In 2010, the actress and dancer finally got her first big role and that was when Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of 11 after she came across a slaughterhouse during the road along with her father. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals being packed in there in a cage waiting to be killed. It shocked me that I used this method of obtaining meat. Since then, she has been on a vegan diet.
